Martini
Ranch
Located in Old Town Scottsdale, just east of
Scottsdale Road. Live music. This area of Scottsdale has a number
of clubs, bars, and restuarants.
Jetz

Close to Martini Ranch, and what used to be
Jetz & Stixx (now just Jetz), is now located farther north in
Scottsdale, tucked away off Gold Dust Avenue and Scottsdale Road.
There are three bars, including a small bar in the red VIP room
(you need a membership for this room). They have a decent-size dance
floor, a spread-out seating area with tables and booths and 25 flat-screen
TVs. It has an upscale sports bar feel and a nice area to sit outside.
Barcelona
This Scottsdale with a Spainish Style spot is
frequented by locals who enjoy the open-air cocktail lounge and
feast on Mediterranean-inspired appetizers including oyster shooters
and bacon-wrapped shrimp. Dinner specialties include steak, fish,
paella, and rack of lamb. Live jazz and R&B music starts nightly.
After 10pm, the domed dining room transforms into a high-energy
dance club. The restaurant is closed for private parties on Sunday.
Carefree RoadHouse Restaurant
Just north of Scottsdale is the new Carefree
Roadhouse Restuarant. It is built to look like it has been there
for a century with big windows to look out the front and back. A
big bar area and live entertainment.
Maloney's
Another Oldtown Scottsdale Landmark. Maloney's
Scottsdale is a classic bar and grill you. The large center bar
seats a ton of people. A friendly local atmosphere. Good tunes tunes
sprinkled with funny old movie audio clips throughout the night.
DRINK RECIPE
Green Iguana recipe
1/2 part tequila
1 part Midori melon liqueur
2 parts sweet and sour mix
ice
Mix tequila, midori melon liqueur and sweet and sour mix in a blender.
Add ice. Serve in a margarita/coupette glass.
